2020 marks a milestone for the Evans Scholars Program, as the number of Evans Scholars currently enrolled in college has surpassed 10,000 for the first time in its 90-year history. Since 1930, when the first two Evans Scholars enrolled at Northwestern University, more than 11,815 outstanding young men and women have graduated from college as Evans Scholars.

Evans Scholars are selected on the basis of strong caddie record, excellent grades, outstanding character and demonstrated financial need. To be eligible for the program, caddies must have worked a minimum of two years at a golf course and be recommended by their head golf professional.
